The purpose of this seminar series is to foster interdisciplinary discussion on the nature and import of social rules and conventions for research in the social sciences (click here for more detail). Although this constitutes the principle focus of the series, we also hope to provide a forum for discussions on distinct, yet related, questions of social theory and philosophy of social science.

Sessions typically last 1h30, during which a paper is presented and discussed. The seminar is open to academics and postgraduates from all universities. If you would like further information, please contact the organisers at john.latsis(at)philosophy.ox.ac.uk

OSCAR is convened by Ismael Al-Amoudi and John Latsis
